Story

This year myself and Rebecca have completed the Inverness half marathon & Edinburgh Marathon raising just over £2800.

This weekend we will be entering the Loch Ness 24hr Ultra, and hoping to hit £3000 for the James support group. This charity has been a big support to the family of Fraser More who took his own life back in April 2021.

Back in October 2021 a large group of Frasers friends and family completed a 10 mile walk from Tain to Portmahomack and raised £10,000 for the charity. We would love to raise as much as we can for a charity we hold so close to our hearts and that has supported Frasers family continuously.

The James support group was formed because the family and friends of James have struggled to find any meaningful help here in the Highlands even though the Highlands has the highest suicide rate in the UK. Since becoming a registered charity in October 2020, we are now able to expand our support service to cover The Scottish Highlands, where we provide monthly support groups, break out personal sessions as required, a 24/7 Helpline & various other support events throughout the year.
