Story

Here we go again folks, another London Marathon for me. At 63 years of age I have to keep going until Cystic Fibrosis stands for Cure Found. Most of you know that I have a daughter Rachel with CF but I'm also fighting for everyone living with this condition, especially the 10% that don't have any lifesaving drugs.

I have dedicated my life to raising funds by running marathons for over 32 years for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust. In the process I won The Pride of Britain in 2020 and have raised over £350,000.00.

I've ran numerous London Marathons over the last 20 years, plus New York, Dublin, Belfast, Newry etc. We have made so many brilliant advancements in the last few years with lifesaving drugs for 90% of the CF population. Please help me in my goal to get similar effective drugs for the 10% that are missing out by making a donation to my London Marathon Fundraiser 2025.

I don't intend to give up until we find a cure. Thank you....Liam.

Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a genetic condition which causes sticky mucus to build up in the lungs and digestive system. It affects more than 10,800 people in the UK. One in 25 of us carries the faulty gene that causes it, usually without knowing.

Cystic fibrosis comes with challenges, affecting our physical health, mental wellbeing and how we choose to live our lives. But our community is uniting towards the ultimate goal of effective treatment for all.

Cystic Fibrosis Trust is the charity uniting people to stop cystic fibrosis.
