Story

Liam and Josh are taking on the challenge of a half marathon to help raise vital funds for the charity, “The Freya Foundation”. Having both never ran a half marathon before, this is set to be a big achievement.

Josh’s daughter, Eve, lives with a rare metabolic condition called Pyruvate Dehydrogenase Deficiency (PDH), which disrupts the body’s natural ability to produce energy. PDH is a rare disorder with only a few hundred cases reported around the world!

To help manage her symptoms, Eve follows a ketogenic diet and navigates daily challenges related to mobility and cognition that affect her everyday life. Despite this, Eve is a strong and resilient little girl, continually pushing beyond the limitations that PDH imposes.

The Freya Foundation raises awareness of the condition and brings together families affected by the condition. You can find more information about the charity here:

Thank you so much for all your support!
