Story
I’m running this marathon in support of Anthony Nolan, a charity that’s incredibly close to my heart.
Back in 2015, my mum was diagnosed with leukaemia. Thanks to a life-saving stem cell transplant, she survived… something that simply wouldn’t have been possible without stem cell donors and the incredible work Anthony Nolan does every single day.
Anthony Nolan’s world-leading stem cell register, groundbreaking cell and gene therapy research, and expertise in stem cell transplants currently help four patients every day find a second chance at life. But there are still so many people waiting for that match.
The more people who join the register, the greater the chance someone… just like my mum… gets to survive and thrive.
By supporting my run, you’re helping fund vital research, recruit new donors, and give families hope when they need it most.
Thank you for any donation, big or small… it truly could help save a life.
