As I'm sure you are aware the recent devastating floods in Nepal have left a trail of destruction across many mountain and trekking communities. Families have lost loved ones, homes, livelihoods, and in many cases, parents who were the sole providers for their children.

An estimated 17,000 children have been affected, facing an uncertain future without access to the healthcare, education, and support they desperately need. Many of these children come from families who have helped trekkers and visitors experience the beauty of Nepal for generations, working as guides, porters, lodge owners, and community support staff. This is a cause that is very close to my heart, having spent time with the Trekking families & communities in Nepal.

Today, these communities need our help.

• Access to education, including school fees, learning materials, and support to help children remain in school.

• Emergency assistance for families who have lost loved ones or whose relatives remain missing.
