it’s that time of year again when our very own little hero Oscar smith, from shawbury has decided to continue his good work for charities and he has chosen to raise money for BBC children in need.

Oscar has previously tackled our very own Wrekin hill for his first challenge for cerebral palsy sport where he completed the challenge with ease, last year came his 2nd charitable fund raiser, raising funds for stand up to cancer by taking on snowdon the Welsh’s tallest mountain, this was an extremely tough task for Oscar with cerebral palsy walking up the 1000m plus mountain on his tip toes. but once again he powered through and inspired several others to join in.

This year in May oscar has decided to keep with the hiking challenge and will be taking on Englands highest mountain scafell pike.

We would love to welcome anyone to join him on his journey and Oscar would really appreciate some charitable funds towards his £5000 target for a truly beautiful charity.

By doing these challenges Oscar wants every child no matter what condition or circumstance to be able to have a happy childhood with many great memories just as he does.
