For Sophia, my grandaughter who blazed a trail through this life like a shooting star. She shone so bright this world could not hold her and she shines today as the brightest star in heaven where we who are left behind live with renewed purpose because of the message of hope of a better life she brought to us.

Life with Sophia was utter joy and each moment was a treasure to cherish and filled our hearts with glad memories of a pure, sweet little soul who just brought us happiness. Her perfect little life awakened something in everyone. We will never be the same.

Such a short little life has had such a huge impact on so many and by helping to raise awareness and funds to battle mito and to stomp it out she continues to have an impact today.
