Peak District Ultra Challenge 2024 · 6 July 2024 to 7 July 2024 ·

1 in 8 men will get prostate cancer. At Prostate Cancer UK, we’re giving every man the power to navigate it. With over £100 million invested in research, treatment, and care, we’re building a future where prostate cancer no longer cuts men’s lives short. Together, we can help save men’s lives.

Story

In July I will be taking on the 100km (62 mile) Peak District challenge in support of Prostate Cancer UK.

As a cancer survivor myself, I know how important it is to raise money for charities such as Prostate Cancer UK so that they can continue to do their brilliant work. Their contributions to cancer research is vital and without which I would not be here today.

More than 52,000 men are diagnosed with prostate cancer every year on average – that's 144 men every day. Every 45 minutes one man dies from prostate cancer – that's more than 12,000 men every year. 1 in 8 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime. - Prostate Cancer UK
