Story

Hey Guys!

Back in September, I downloaded to the Couch to 5K app, laced up my trainers and thought: “Let’s see how this running thing goes".

Shockingly, I didn’t hate it, in fact I actually enjoyed it; and even more shockingly, I wasn’t terrible at it!

Naturally, the next logical step was to sign up for a half marathon - why not commit to running 21 Kilometers when I make running around the salon look like an Olympic sport? So that's exactly what I've done; on April 26th 2026 I'll be putting my trainers and stamina to the test but running a Marathon, but I’m not just doing it for the glory (or the inevitable knee pain), I’m running to raise money for an amazing local charity.

The incredible Stratford Baby Bank (officially Stratford-upon-Avon Little Bird Baby Bank) support families with children under six by providing essential clothing, equipment, food, and toiletries. They do such important work, and I’d love to help them make an even bigger difference and pour into a community that truly could use our support - queue the part where you come in!

I'd be incredibly grateful if you gave witnessing my attempt to survive 21 Kilometers a greater meaning by supporting a local charity at the same time.

No matter how big or small, your donation would mean the world to me and The Stratford Baby Bank - every single penny will help!

Thank you in advance for supporting me, cheering me on, and giving me the motivation to keep running instead of collapsing dramatically on the pavement ... not yet anyway, let's see what happens on the finish line!

Forever grateful,

Liam xxxx
