Liann's fundraiser for CoppaFeel!

Liann Alexander is raising money for CoppaFeel!

Snowdon at night trek · 29 August 2026

We're the UK’s only youth-focused breast cancer awareness charity, on a mission to get every young person checking their chest. We want all young people to know the signs and see their GP if they notice any changes. We do this because early detection saves lives.

Story

Next year I’ll be turning 40, and it will also mark four years since I was diagnosed with cancer — a milestone that feels huge in every possible way.

This journey has changed me, grounded me, and taught me what truly matters. And while I haven’t been able to join any of CoppaFeel!’s official treks next year due to holidays and commitments, I wasn’t going to let that stop me from doing something meaningful.

So… with two of my incredible friends we will be climbing Snowdon… at night! 🌙⛰️

A challenge that feels both symbolic and a little bit wild — because getting through the dark to reach the light has been the story of my last few years.

CoppaFeel! is a charity that means so much to me. Their mission to educate, empower and support people to check their chests and catch cancer early is life-changing. I wouldn’t be here today without early detection, and if sharing my story or taking on this challenge helps even one person check themselves, it’s worth every step.

If you’re able to donate, share, or simply cheer me on — thank you from the bottom of my heart. 💗

Here’s to turning 40 with gratitude, strength, and purpose… and to climbing mountains, literal and metaphorical.

CoppaFeel! are the UK’s only youth focused breast cancer awareness charity, and we’re on a mission to get every 18-24 year old checking their chest.

We educate people on the signs and symptoms of breast cancer and encourage them to check their chests regularly, so that if they notice something unusual they are empowered to contact their GP and advocate for themselves. We do this because when diagnosed early and accurately, breast cancer treatments are more effective and survival rates are higher. Early detection truly can save lives.
