I am taking part in the Edinburgh marathon festival 10km race to fundraise for this charity because my friend was diagnosed with a symptomatic Cavernoma at the age of 13. The symptoms she experiences from the cavernomas are seizures, headaches and neurofatigue, and this month she had a brain bleed from one of her cavernomas.

I hope the money I raise for CAUK will bring further awareness to Cavernomas in both the medical and general world.
