Story
One day, someone you love might not remember your name.
That’s the reality of dementia—and it’s why this means so much to me.
In five months’ time, I will close one of the most important chapters of my life—my final year at university. And I’ve chosen to do it in a way that truly matters.
In June 2026 10th to 15th , I will be cycling 315 miles from London to Paris.
With no previous cycling experience, this challenge will demand everything from me—physically and mentally. There will be moments of doubt, exhaustion, and discomfort. But this journey is about more than just reaching the finish line.
It’s about purpose.
I am raising money for Alzheimer’s Society—a charity that is deeply personal to me.
My grandpa is currently living with dementia. Watching someone you love slowly change in ways you cannot control or fix is incredibly difficult. It affects not only the individual, but everyone around them.
As a carer, I also support individuals who face this reality every single day. Their strength, resilience, and humanity inspire me more than words can express.
This challenge is for them. For my grandpa. For every family navigating the impact of dementia.
I will be funding this entire journey myself, so every donation—no matter the size—will go directly to the charity.
I have already made the first contribution, and I would be truly grateful for any support—whether that is a donation, sharing this message, or simply offering encouragement.
Together, we can raise awareness, support those affected, and work towards a future where no one has to face dementia alone.
Thank you for being part of this journey
