Story
My name is Libby. I am 29 and I have had a long history of bulimia & anorexia. I have many friends who have been impacted by eating disorders themselves and through family members.
Beat have always been such a wonderful, supportive and informative organisation that I have long admired.
Throughout the month of November I will be completing a 30 day readathon. I will be reading every day with the aim of completing 10 books. I am going to be posting on my Instagram (hello.itslibby) & my tiktok (helloits_libby) a number of books for people to vote and that will decide what books I will be reading. I will then update this post on November 1st with the 10 books I will be reading.
I will additionally be documenting my progress throughout the month on both Instagram & TikTok & potentially over on my YouTube channel (heyheylibby).
I am aiming to raise £1000 throughout the month of November. Best is such a brilliant and well needed charity, and I hope you enjoy my Readathon!!

I'm fundraising for Beat – the UK’s eating disorder charity. Eating disorders are complex mental illnesses that can affect anyone. Right now, at least 1.25 million (1 in 50) people in the UK have an eating disorder – with millions of loved ones also affected. But there is hope. With better understanding, faster diagnosis and proper treatment, recovery is possible. Beat offer people emotional support and expert advice, and work to change policies, perceptions, and lives. Together, we’ll end the pain and suffering caused by eating disorders 💜
