Story
This May, 10 businesses from Lichfield will be swapping shirts & ties for shorts & t-shirts, and the stationery cupboard for stationary bikes, as they take part in the Lichfield LEJoG 1,000 Mile Relay for Children with Cancer UK.
These 10 intrepid teams, each made up of 10 riders, will jump on exercise bikes in Lichfield's Market Square and attempt to ride 100 miles in just 1 hour – before handing the baton over to the next team.
As the last team completes its relay leg, they’ll have collectively completed 1,000 miles – the same distance from Land’s End to John o’ Groats (that’s the LEJoG part of the name!).
It’s 10 teams, 10 hours, 1,000 miles and a £10,000 fundraising target.
