fundraiser for Legend on the Bench - Someone is always listening

Aaron Mullen is raising money for Legend on the Bench - Someone is always listening
The goal is to install benches in as many public parks throughout the UK, discreetly inscribed with a QR code, that opens up an array of supporting organisations for Mental Health issues and Suicide Awareness/Support. Someone is always listening...

Story

In light of the sad deaths of some close friends recently due to suicide. We aim to raise £2000 for a Legends bench to be installed in Hereford.

the bench has a direct link to the Samaritans alond with important contact details for those, like myself who struggle with their mental health.

The benches QR code will connect you to someone who can help.

After the £2000 is raised we will contact the local authorities to find a place for the bench. Personally I think somewhere along the river Wye would be perfect.

I myself suffer with GAD and Major Depression. We also run a mental health group for men Named "180 Degrees of Change". A group created after my mental breakdown and thankfully failed suicide attempts.

I have everything in life. A beautiful family. Successful business. A roof over my head. Yet I still have a daily battle with depression. Every. Single. Day. But I'm the lucky one. A survivor. Because I have people around me to listen and I am open and honest now about my depression.

Some people have nobody to talk to.

This bench could save a life. Or many lives.

And when it comes to weighing up a couple of grand or saving a life, it's obvious what should be the choice.

Every penny will help no matter how little. So please donate anything you can.

Any businesses that with to donate i can offer a crisp high five and a massive thankyou shout out on our socials.

Let's do this Hereford. Let's save a life today.

Thankyou

Aaron
