As many of you know, I have endometriosis and have been living with chronic pain for several years. This charity is close to my heart and affects real change!
I've decided to trek from the Mull of Kintyre lighthouse to the Todhead lighthouse. This 500+ mile trek across the picturesque Scottish coast and countryside will take two and a half months to complete.
1 in 10 women in the UK suffer from endometriosis - yet on average it takes 8 years 10 months from onset of symptoms to get a diagnosis.
Endometriosis UK not only raises awareness of endometriosis, but also provides direct support and resources to those suffering with the disease and their families. The charity fund vital research and campaign to ensure that those with endometriosis get access to the right care at the right time.
