CHALLENGE 2: DONE
ONE TO GO!
As a podcast, 'Lights Camera Combat' aims to spread the inspiring stories of people connected to the armed forces community, through the hardships and challenges they have had to endure and continue to go through whilst helping us all find the light at the end of any tunnel.
There are still so many veterans and their families not being looked after the way they deserve so the podcast is taking part in a Summer of Fundraising for Help for Heroes to help them continue with the incredible work they do.
I was initially inspired by an incredible 99-year-old WW2 Veteran Ray Parke who was the reason for this whole journey, we were lucky enough to tell his story on our YouTube channel and he continues to be the reason we look to give back to this community.
I, along with my cousin and Uncle, are taking on summer challenges, we have completed the 3 peaks challenge in 24 hours on the 16th June, with pictures from the day above! We have completed our 44-mile stretcher walk into London, a gruelling but satisfying 17 hour challenge!
To finish off the summer of fundraising on the 20th August, we will be lifting the weight of a 40-tonne WW2 Churchill Tank using a 25kg SAS Bergen in Waterloo Station in London in August.
The fundraisers will be turned into YouTube videos on the podcast's channel found below:

Anything you can spare to support us on this summer's journey will go a long way to help look after as many people who have sacrificed a great deal for us all.
Thank you
