As my 45th birthday is coming up on the 23rd of August, I’ve decided to do something close to my heart this year. Instead of personal gifts or flowers, I would love to use this day to give back.As many of you know, I work at the Cedars dementia unit here at Olivet Care Home in Birmingham, England. Every day, I see how much a warm, stimulating environment, therapy tools, and activities mean to our lovely residents.To celebrate my birthday, I am raising funds for the Christadelphian Care Homes charity, and the management has kindly assured me that the funds we raise will go directly to support our residents on the Cedars unit.
