Story
I’m Lily, and I’ve been living with psoriasis for a couple of years now. The more I talk about it, the more I realise how many others are affected, including people close to me.
On October 5th, I’m running the Chester Marathon to raise money for the Psoriasis Association. Running has never been my thing, even though I keep trying, so this will definitely be a challenge.
Psoriasis is a long-term autoimmune condition that causes patches of skin to become red, flaky, and painful. It affects around 2 million people in the UK.
By raising funds, I hope to help the Psoriasis Association continue providing support, advice, and funding for research into better treatments. If you can, please support my run — every donation helps (and might even help me get up and go for a run).
Thank you!
