In October 2023, some of the W3D1 flat members will be running/ volunteering at the Bath Half marathon in support of Melanoma UK.

In July 2022, my father was diagnosed with melanoma cancer and is currently undergoing immunotherapy on a journey to being cancer free. Witnessing the physical and emotional toll it has taken on him and the family has been incredibly difficult, however, to transform pain into something positive, some of our university flat have made the decision to run the Bath Half for Melanoma Charity UK.

Generous donations to melanoma research enabled my father's journey to take place and transformed countless lives. Breakthroughs resulting from this vital research offer effective treatments and give millions hope to reclaim their health.
