Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a genetic condition which causes sticky mucus to build up in the lungs and digestive system. It affects more than 11,000 people in the UK. One in 25 of us carries the faulty gene that causes it, usually without knowing.
Cystic fibrosis comes with challenges, affecting our physical health, mental wellbeing and how we choose to live our lives. But our community is uniting towards the ultimate goal of effective treatment for all.
Cystic Fibrosis Trust is the charity uniting people to stop cystic fibrosis.
Lily Moseley was a huge fighter of Cystic Fibrosis. She won every battle she possibly could, and even managed to climb Borówkowa twice in space of two years. It was a challenge that she loved and was willing to do every single year.
She got taken throughout many complication on 21st March 2024. Myself (Oskar, boyfriend), Donna (Mother), Wergiliusz (Oskar’s Uncle), Kayla (Lilys best friend) and Chris (Owner of Valentines Cafe in Brinsworth) The same mountain Lily climbed will be climbed again, and in addition to climbing a mountain that Lily was willing to give a go, and one of the most difficult within the surrounding areas of Ladek-Zdroj, Śnieżnik. We are raising all money to the Cystic Fibrosis Trust, to help other people like Lily to fulfil all their dreams. We are wanting to raise as much money as we possibly can. All raised money goes directly to CF Trust.
