I'm climbing 5,839m to the summit of Kilimanjaro with G Adventures over the course of 6 days and will be camping on the mountain. So, I've decided to make the most of this challenge to raise some money for a local cause and would love your help.

Also based in Tanzania, the charity Waterfall run a project every year to hand-deliver essential food parcels to local families observing Ramadan. Ramadan starts on the 11th of March this year and those fasting can't eat or drink between sunrise and sunset. Before the sun comes up and only after it goes down each day, a family share suhoor and iftar - the only opportunities to break fast. One parcel with Waterfall costs just £40 to help feed a family of 7 for the month here and help them complete their fast with dignity and nourishment.
