London Marathon 2025 · 27 April 2025 ·

Welcome to our 2025 London Marathon page for all our incredible runners taking part in the London Marathon for LUPUS UK on Sunday 27 April!

Story

In 2006, my sister was diagnosed with Lupus at Great Ormond Street Hospital at the age of 3. After consulting with 13 different doctors, the diagnosis was finally confirmed: Lupus. Lupus is a chronic autoimmune disease where the immune system is dysfunctional and mistakenly identifies the body’s own tissues as foreign invaders. Causing issues with the skin flare ups, joints, kidneys, and other organs. Where Unfortunately, there is currently no cure for Lupus. My brave sister continues to inspire others and me with her courage and optimism. Despite the challenges posed by Lupus, she refuses to let it define or limit her.

I am participating in the London Marathon 2025 as part of the LUPUS UK 2025 London Marathon Running Team to raise funds for this important cause. Our goal is to raise £3,000 to support research and provide assistance to those affected by Lupus.

Your support will make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals battling this condition. Join us in our mission to spread awareness and improve the quality of life for those living with Lupus.
