Story
I am helping to raise money for the south western ambulance charity by doing regular walks over the next 2 months. I am going to walk 64 miles , this is the amount of miles an ambulance travels in one shift. I am doing this as I want to raise money which can then be used to help support the south western ambulance staff and can help better equip the first responders.
Our ambulance staff and volunteers really go the extra mile to be there when we need them the most. Please support me to go the extra mile for them by taking on the 'Outrun an Ambulance' challenge.
The South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) provides emergency and urgent care across 10,000 square miles, serving over 5.5 million residents and over 20 million visitors each year. SWASFT crews deal with around 2,500 incidents a day across the South West.
Your donations will be used to provide enhanced facilities and well-being support for crew and personnel operating from Ambulance Stations in Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire. It will also help to equip volunteer Community First Responders.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT
