Story
Hi, I’m Lily, and I’m 12 years old. When I was just 2, I was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy and Autism. The Doctors said I would never be able to walk on my own. But with the amazing support from the team at Great Ormond Street Hospital, my family, and the hard work put into my physio, I beat those odds and learned to walk, something I am very proud of!
Now, my biggest goal is to help others. I’ve always been inspired to make a difference in the world and help those that I can. When I was 7 years old, I did my first big challenge – a 15km walk to raise money for Haven House Children’s Hospice. It was tough for me, but I was determined and with the support of so many people behind me, I DID IT! I reached my target and helped the children who needed it the most. That experience taught me what true determination can really do!
With your support I know we can achieve even more, I will be continuing my journey and climbing the great Mount Snowdon, this September! To raise money for Haven House Children’s Hospice. I believe that no matter what challenges life throws at us, we can all make a difference and that is what I dream to do!
Thank you for being apart of this journey with me!
