Lily’s Waterfront Glow Walk

Lauren Williams is raising money for Liverpool Zoe's Place

Lily’s Waterfront Glow Walk · 25 October 2025

Liverpool Zoe's Place provides respite, therapeutic and bereavement support to babies and children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions, and their families.

Story

Hi my name is Lily and I’m 9 years old.

In 2024, I set out on a mission to help save Zoe’s Place from closure and thanks to lots of amazing support, I raised a whopping £5,618 by hand-making and selling bracelets in my local community (and beyond!). It was hard work but so worth it.

Because of my fundraising, I was honoured to be named Charity Champion at the Pride of Sefton Awards and I also received a special award for my efforts in the community. Oh, and I even got to switch on our community Christmas lights — it was incredible!

This journey has been so special to me. I’ve met some truly inspiring people and learned just how powerful kindness and community can be. That’s why I’m not stopping now! I want to continue raising money for the amazing Zoe’s Place, who provide vital respite, palliative, and end-of-life care for babies and children with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions, while also supporting their families.

This year, I’m taking on a new challenge — a 10km Glow Walk — and I’d love your support. Every single donation, big or small, will make a huge difference to this brilliant charity-run organisation.

Thank you so much for helping me help others 💛

Love,

Lily
