Bath Half 2025 · 16 March 2025 ·

Motor Neurone Disease moves fast. It takes away time, it takes away independence and it has no cure. Every day we support people affected by MND. We fund ground-breaking research. We campaign for better care. We’re here for everyone who needs us. Because with MND, every day matters.

Story

As some of you know, my Dad was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease in the summer. This heartbreaking illness is degenerative and there is no cure, which has been a lot for us to process as a family. I have decided to fundraise for the Motor Neurone Disease Association, who have been supporting us, and continue to help people with MND and their families.

When I was younger, I used to love running and my Dad was always keen for me to pursue it, but over the years I had lost interest. Now, (after many years of no running at all!) I have decided to take part in the Bath Half Marathon on Sunday 16th March 2025, to make my dad proud and to raise as much money as possible for the MNDA so they can continue with their amazing work, and hopefully one day, find a cure.

Please give what you can #TEAMMND 🧡💙
