We’ve partnered with nail salons across the UK to bring attention to an overlooked, underfunded condition that affects millions of women and people assigned female at birth: Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD).

Living with PMDD can feel isolating, but you are not alone. LimeLight is the universal symbol of solidarity, a way to make PMDD visible to the world.

PMDD affects 1 in 20 women, but it’s still misunderstood, misdiagnosed, and dismissed.

LimeLight is a simple but powerful way to change that. Paint your ring fingernail lime green from 20-30 April to help make PMDD visible, real, and unignorable.

HOW IT WORKS:

💅 Get a free green gel nail on your ring finger (BIAB, shellac or polish – depending on the salon)

💸 In exchange, you make a donation to support PMDD awareness, education and advocacy

📲 Show proof of donation to your nail technician at any participating salon and they’ll treat you to your green nails, on us

WHAT IS PMDD?

PMDD is a severe, hormone-related disorder linked to the menstrual cycle. It can cause extreme mood swings, depression, fatigue, and even suicidal thoughts – yet it’s often misdiagnosed or ignored. That needs to change.
