As I approach my 80th birthday, I am truly greatful for the support I received during my journey with mouth cancer. The Ark Cancer Charity played a pivotal role in my recovery, providing not only essential treatments but also the complementary therapies that uplifted my spirit during challenging times.

To celebrate this milestone, I have decided to take on a personal challenge: cycling 80 miles in one day to celebrate my 80th Birthday after being diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma of the tongue and floor of mouth last year. This event will take place on June 4th, 2025, from Poole Harbour to Old Basing. It is not just a memorable experience for me but also an opportunity to give back to the charity that has given me so much.
