I am taking part in the Edinburgh Kilt Walk this year doing the Big Stroll (14.7 miles) for Play Therapy Base. PTB is a children’s mental health charity established in 2011 in Midlothian to supports children 3 to 14 years living in the Lothians who are experiencing emotional distress.

Last year the service supported 576 children through the services they offer from their 3 playrooms and in local community settings.

The funds we raise doing the Kilt Walk 2023 will help run the service in a very challenging funding sector. Ensuring that children struggling to speak about their experiences, worries and fears have an accessible play based service for support.
