Story
On this year's anniversary of Neil's passing, I hope your generosity will support my chosen charity the 'British Heart Foundation' as I run my 1st Royal Parks Half Marathon in October. Unfortunately, Neil didn't receive a diagnosis or any other kind of treatment, however I'm hoping that by raising awareness, of the importance of looking after your heart, together we can support world-class research and new innovations that help to prevent the enduring and painful reality of losing a loved one.
Neil wasn't just a kind-hearted gentleman, a husband and a father, he was an affiliated member of the Quakers Running Club. Always striving for togetherness, he developed many lifelong friendships through his strong feeling of appreciation for others. Not only did he spring into life whenever he wore a pair of running shoes, he, on many occasions, hung up his own running diary to support fellow members and friends.
And so, as I take a moment to reflect and appreciate with admiration the man who was named the 'Spirit of the Club' I hope you will join me by donating what you can, and be apart of this very special journey.
Thank you
