My heart is absolutely broken at the loss of my cousin Jason, who sadly died on 18th June 2025 aged 54. Jason was always kind and caring and would help anyone if he could. Jason always had the love of his family and his family dogs. Tito, Pepper and Inga all an influence which he took into his adult life. Jason went on to be an advocate of the RSPCA and volunteered at the RSPCA Danaher animal home , he shared 6 dogs with his wife Sam which he classed as his babies. Their dogs where five rescue dogs, Pickle from Battersea, Rocky, Boycie, Ruby and Bella from Danaher and puppy Dillon who they had for 14 years and re homed him from a woman at work, they all meant the world to both of them. Danaher relies on fundraising donations to keep them going and without volunteers like Jason and Sam, many of these dogs would not have been given good homes and would have greatly suffered. Jason loved Danaher animal home and his favourite place was New York, coupled with his birthday being 3rd November, I feel it is is only fitting to raise funds in his memory at the TCS New York Marathon. I would like to make something positive out of a traumatic and negative time. Times are hard, however If you can donate to Danaher, I would be eternally grateful.
