My Cousin David was diagnosed at the beginning of may 2024 with small cell lung cancer, after chemo he was told he couldn’t be offered any more treatment on 5th December. He was transferred from the JR to Sobell house early December where he received the very best care from very skilled and processional nurses and doctors. His children Joshua & Hayley were able to stay with David around the clock to nurse him and give him the best care in his final days. David sadly died of metastatic small cell carcinoma of the lung on 29th December 2024.

We as a family will never be able to thank Sobell house enough for the care they gave to David and his family.

I am running The Oxford Half Marathon on 12th October this year to raise funds for Sobell House.
