To mark our 50th Anniversary, EWA is delighted to announce our Challenge 50 fundraiser. We invite all our supporters to get involved with their own #EWAchallenge50 to help us reach a target of £50,000 across 2023.

Story

To mark Edinburgh Women's Aid's 50th Anniversary, I am taking part in the Challenge 50 fundraiser.

I've set myself the challenge of running 5k per day for 50 days from 16 April to 4 June 2023.

All the funds you help me raise will go towards supporting the women and children who need Edinburgh Women's Aid now and in the future -- with everything from giving them a safe place to stay in a refuge, to specialist housing support, legal advice and help securing employment.

I'm so passionate about the amazing difference Edinburgh Women's Aid makes to the women, children and young people who use our services.

Edinburgh Women’s Aid supports women and children to recover from the trauma of domestic abuse. We provide a range of crisis, therapeutic and prevention services including: a helpline and drop-in; counselling; outreach; court advocacy; refuge accommodation; resettlement; and therapeutic support.
