The reason I'm doing the abseil is because my daughter Alana had a beautiful baby girl, called Amaya, on 6 June and sadly she passed away on 15 June. When she was taken off life support in the Neonatal Unit in Edinburgh Royal Infirmary, she was transferred to Rachel House Hospice in Kinross for end of life care. We cannot praise the staff enough for being so caring and kind to us, and Amaya, during our stay there. The nurses are worth their weight in gold. I feel I want to give something back to CHAS for the way they cared for Amaya while she was there. Anything anyone can spare will be much appreciated. Thanks in anticipation 👌
