Most of you will know that St Wilfrids helped me look after my dad in his final days whilst living with me. I’ve decided to take on this challenge to help payback St Wilfreds for the help and support they provided in those difficult times. Those of you that know me, will know this will be a real challenge for me because…. I don’t like the heat, I have got very dodgy hips and trouble with my feet !!! That all said , I’m going to give it my best shot .In October 2025, I am trekking the Sahara desert to raise money for St Wilfrid's Hospice.

We are all close to friends and family who reach out and are supported by hospice services . I’m trekking for all those friends too .
