At Salisbury Hospice, we understand the profound impact of a progressive, life-limiting illness—not only for those diagnosed but for their families and loved ones. We offer our patients compassionate, palliative and end of life care, providing comfort, and guidance at every step.

Story

On Sunday 8 September our team of runners will be taking part in the New Forest Marathon event across various races.

Our team comprises:

David Jones is running the marathon.

Emily Steel, Alice Moon, Jonathan Laidler, Kelvin Farmaner, Jack Ormesher and Julian Hamblin - all running the half marathon.

Linden Talbot, Amy Whittle, Ella Bennett, Mike Watson (and Mike's son, Matthew) and Melia Hirst - all running 10k.

Nicole Farmaner (Kelvin's daughter) - running 5k.

About Salisbury Hospice:

Opened in 1981, the hospice was set up to provide specialist care for people with terminal or life-limiting illness in the Salisbury area.

Over the years, the hospice has grown and evolved, and it now offers a broad range of medical, nursing, emotional and practical support for patients and their families.

Today, the hospice can accommodate ten in-patients in a purpose-built facility, with a day room, education centre and Hospice at Home service.

Thank you for your donation and good luck to the team!
