Tommy’s 60 miles in June.

This month I will be taking on a challenge to complete 60 miles throughout June.

Earlier this year, after two miscarriages, since our daughter was born in 2019, we found out we were expecting a baby. We were lucky enough to have help at the early stages of this pregnancy, but unfortunately, as we progressed through the pregnancy, we were told our baby was never going to survive after birth. As you can imagine it came to us as a huge shock, unfortunately we had to make the hardest decision to say our ‘goodbyes’ before our ‘hellos’. We have been incredibly supported by the NHS Maternity Nurses and having charities like Tommy’s have helped me emotionally try to move forward.

My aim is to raise £150, for the charity Tommy’s, to help support families like us and to continue to raise awareness. Through turning research breakthroughs into new tests and treatments, campaigning for changes to national maternity care and providing expert information, there will be more support for everyone.
