Story
As you will all know #Team Brown lost our main man. Warren ❤️ last year.
Warren was referred over to the outreach team but sadly before his care at home started he passed away.
A few weeks later I was contacted by Bury hospice and offered support. At a time where I didn't know where to turn this was simply a lifeline.
I received much needed time out, talking to the family bereavement team, holistic treatments.
Emily and myself attended "Sunflower group" providing primary age children and their parent / guardians to engage with other bereaved families. They do this through play, crafts and stories. I got to talk to other parents who "got it" who understood.
Bailey has received counselling and continues to do so.
The work they do is just amazing, that's why we #team brown have decided to give something back and help raise much needed donations...
Please help us achieve this....
We appreciate it....
Lots of love Mrs Brown, Bailey and Emily ❤️💙💜

After last year’s successful Memory Walk, our 2023 walk to remember will this year take place at the end of September.
On Saturday 30th September Bury Hospice's 2023 Memory walkers will aim to complete a 4.5mile route from Whitefield Park in one of the Bury Townships, through Bury Town Centre, ending at Bury hospice in Fairfield.
It costs £4 million pounds to run Bury Hospice, and as a charity we have to raise £3.5 million through community support. Every donation makes a difference.
