Story
October 2025 will be 8 years since my world was turned upside down with an incurable breast cancer diagnosis. But it will also see me double the prognosis I was given!
So I've decided to raise money for The Osborne Trust who are desperate for important funds after losing some fundraising events this year.
Why the 2nd Chance Challenge?
When I heard those earth shattering words that my cancer had spread and was now not curable, my prognosis was dire. I wasn't expected to see Osian start school. I wasn't expected to see my 37th birthday and the thought of having another baby was now just a crushed dream.
But a 2nd opinion which ended in double major surgery I believe has given me a 2nd chance at living my life again! No, I'm not cured, but I've been able to have my miracle baby and carry on making precious memories.
So the challenges are things I'm having a 2nd stab at!
🏰 Walking to Castell Dinas Bran 11th Oct - something I was always meant to do with my grandad.
🚶♀️Walking to the summit of the Great Orme 12th Oct - something me and Paul attempted at the end of my chemo and I fell half way up.
⛰️ Summit of Snowdon 19th Oct - during the sunrise walk for the Trust we were stopped short of about 1k due to 70mph winds!!!
Please please support if you can by helping raise funds for this vital charity that has supported our kids from the beginning and has never left 🩷
