Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
For those of you who know our story will know we have been raising awareness about Narcolepsy and Cataplexy since Ben was diagnosed in April 2012. He has now recently transferred from children services in to adult services and this has been a big challenge. There are issues surrounding his medication, appointments are few and far between and now more recently Ben has had his driving licence revoked after fighting so hard to obtain it.
As a thank you for the continued support from this charity Lottie and her great friend Sophie have decided to run the York 10 miler to overcome some battles in a tight training schedule to show their support. The girls are doing amazing in this and have only started to train recently. It’s not been easy for them juggling sixth form, work, holidays and their social life but they are doing all they can. They have now enlisted the help from myself (mum) and my best friend Kerry. Both 45 years plus not ran like this for several years and facing the balance of life and all that goes with it. I know money is tight for everyone right now but if I could ask for even a pound from you all we would be very grateful. I am so proud of the girls in their achievements so far and know it’s going to be an emotional one. So please show your support too and drop them a quid or more if you can. Thank you for your generosity Lottie, Sophie, Lins and Kerry xx
