Story
This September, I'll be putting on my running shoes and taking on the challenge of the Great North Run. It's not just about running a half marathon though; it's about something so much closer to my heart, my truly amazing mum ❤️
She has recently been fighting cancer and has been doing amazing, with so much strength and is doing us all so proud as always 🥰 Helping her through her treatment and care has been the ENT Department at James Cook University Hospital.
Doing the GNR is my way of saying a massive thank you to the doctors, macmillan nurses and all the support staff in the ENT department. The funds I raise will go directly to their team, which will hopefully help other families like ours who are going through similar battles.
My mum is the most amazing mum we could ever wish for and she is my greatest inspiration as well as my best friend ❤️ Every step I take during the GNR will be fuelled on by her fighting spirit 💪🏼 and with the hope that any money I can raise will make a real difference for other families having to go through such an difficult time too.
If you can, please support me by making a donation. Any amount, big or small, will mean the world to me, to my mam, and to the ENT team at James Cook.
Thank you so much! xxx
