Story
Not a lot of you will know our beautiful daughter Mali was diagnosed with Vitiligo last year, luckily for us it's not life threatening. However, it is still life changing for her, she has white patches all over her body and part of her eye lashes have now turned white. Mali has had to travel to Telford hospital twice a week for almost a year for phototherapy to try and help with the repigmentation, at the moment she is on a break but it will re start at some point . Mali will have this for the rest of her life with no cure. Money needs to be raised to help research and find a cure for this! Probably 99% of people reading this won't even know what it is, neither did we until last year!
The Vitiligo Society was established in 1985 and we support people living with vitiligo in the UK.
Our Mission is to beat vitiligo by eradicating the psychological, social and physical effects that vitiligo has on people’s lives, and by finding effective treatments and a cure.
