What I have learned is to be remember there is help for you when you are ready - and to give yourself the time and space to ask when you need it.

Sometimes it is not always about finding the solution but holding the space in your situation and choosing how to face it.

Something that is not only core to the Commando Values, but something I resonate with to my core.

Be kind to yourself enough to be open to help when you cannot do everything yourself.

There is no real judgement apart from the way you control how you think about your circumstances.

This is easy to say and not always easy to do, especially if you feel alone, without people who will back you - or maybe you do not have access to what you once had the environment you were accustomed to.

Because of how their team operates and what they accomplish for Veterans, they are the first people I think of to help.
