Our Story

You can help restore someone’s sight — and transform their life — with a donation of just £25, the cost of a cataract operation.

We are Fairlop Lions Club (CIO), a UK‑registered charity (No. 1179347). For more than 20 years, we have been organising free eye camps in India, giving some of the poorest and most vulnerable people the chance to see again.

Cataract blindness is easily treatable and completely reversible. A simple, low‑cost procedure can restore sight almost instantly. Sadly, many people cannot afford this life‑changing operation, leaving them unable to work, support their families, or live independently.
