Story
This summer I am putting on my running shoes and racing around the Lothians and Glasgow in aid of the wonderful charity LifeCare. I am kicking off by joining my amazing nurses Hollie and Klara as they run the Edinburgh Marathon Festival 5K, a beautiful run around Arthur’s Seat with the gruelling hill up the back! Then it is off to Glasgow for the Women’s 10k, taking in the sights of the city. Finally it is the Scottish Half Marathon in East Lothian, starting in Tranent, out to Craigielaw and back along the beautiful coast line to Musselburgh!
This is all in aid of the fantastic local charity Lifecare. As a business, we at Duddingston Dental Practice have had a partnership with LifeCare over the last 2 years. The charity supports local elderly people and raises awareness of social isolation. We have seen first hand with our own patients the wonderful impact the charity has had, welcoming our local residents to The Cottage giving much needed support to people with dementia and importantly their carers. They are a small charity that need lots of local support to keep going.
If you would like to support me in this challenge please do come and cheer me on, keep an eye on @duddingstondental socials for dates. If you would like to donate to this wonderful charity and this challenge then please use the link below, any donations are hugely appreciated.
Thank you!
