Our family is far too familiar with the worry and anxiety of having a child needing hospital treatment -- and that's when the hospital is just down the road. But imagine if the hospital is hundreds of miles away or even completely inaccessible from your present location.

In support of Lia's Wings, the only UK air ambulance charity delivering life-saving services both in the UK and internationally, I am joining a group cycling from Salzburg to Munich. We'll be on the road September 17-19 covering 300 kilometres over three days with over 3,500 meters of climbing. It's not going to be easy!
