Two years ago I had a brain tumour removed at Royal Stoke Hospital. I became ill suddenly, not knowing what was wrong with me. I was rushed into hospital, the lovely nurses there and my amazing surgeon saved my life and the care I received was fantastic.

My recovery was steady but it took a while to learn to walk again properly as my co-ordination was poor, also my speech and memory was affected. Now I am fully recovered and am so grateful to my brilliant family for taking care of me, and to the Neurology Department at Royal Stoke - I want to give something back!
