Trek across the green rolling landscapes of rural Galicia, meet fellow trekkers and even pilgrims, discover local traditions and enjoy the unique atmosphere – today the Camino is more than a pilgrimage but a remarkable journey and unique experience.

Story

In October 2025 Matt and I will be trekking the last 116 km of the Camino De Santiago over 5 days. This will be a huge challenge for us both, but knowing that we will be raising vital funds for St John's Hospice will make it much easier for us to complete.

We were shocked to hear that it costs a staggering 5 million a year to run the hospice with only 1/3 being provided by Government funding. The remaining 2/3 must be raised by fundraising and donations from supporters and the local community.

We will be holding various fundraising events throughout the next 10 months and we will be sharing details of these on our Facebook pages. We would be so grateful if you could join us at some of these and support us to raise money for this amazing charity.
