Story
Our 25 year old daughter, Emily, has had ME/CFS for over 4 years now and it keeps getting worse. She has been housebound since last August and has very limited energy. I had to give up work at the start of last year to care for her. It is possible that our son, AJ, has now developed this awful disease too.
Medical research is desperately needed to develop treatments to improve the lives of all those suffering with this condition.
I have decided to spend a whole day doing gel printing (with breaks to make meals for Emily) in an effort to raise funds and awareness of ME. Any decent prints will be available to buy afterwards - all proceeds going to ME Research UK.
I hope that you are able to help me raise funds for ME Research UK so that they can fund more research projects.

Only biomedical research can find the causes of ME/CFS, improve diagnosis and treatment, and, ultimately, arrive at a cure. That’s why research is our focus.
We've awarded 64 full grants and 5 PhD-level awards since 2000 and invested over £3.5million. But research is expensive and becoming more so every day. That’s the challenge we face, and that’s why we need your help.
